Rendleman Orchards Peach Varieties for 2009

Redhaven Peaches - Starts 3rd week of July Redhaven    Starts 3rd week of July
Our first commercial variety of the season. It is the most widely planted peach in the U.S. A semi-freestone variety of medium size displaying a red blush over a yellow background. A favorite among canners and freezers. Harvest typically begins 3rd week of July.
Bellaire Peaches - 4th week of July Bellaire    4th week of July
Larger peach than a Redhaven. A mostly freestone variety with very classy coloring. Its 80% red blush over a golden background make it a very attractive peach. Bellaires ripen soon after Redhavens, typically the 4rd week of July.
Saturn Peaches - 1st week of August Saturn    1st week of August
A Pen-Tao "donut-shaped" peach which has the flattened shape with depressed center as the name suggests. Its tender white flesh and sweet flavor gives it something to talk about, other than its novelty shape. Available 1st week of August.
Bounty Peaches - 1st week of August Bounty    1st week of August
A large, smooth skinned, freestone peach showing a deep golden background under its 80% cherry-red blush. A great commercial variety with good shipping characteristics. Ripens 1st week of August.
Flaming Fury PF17 Peaches - 2nd week of August Flaming Fury PF17    2nd week of August
An exciting new variety of peach for us here at Rendleman Orchards! The PF17 is a freestone peach of fairly large size with 70% crimson-red blush over a deep orange background. This a good shipper and is usually available around the 2nd week of August.
Flaming Fury PF23 Peaches - 2nd to 3rd week of August Flaming Fury PF23    2nd to 3rd week of August
Another new variety here at Rendleman Orchards. This high-color, freestone peach displays an 80% deep red coloration over the entire peach. Another great commercial variety due to its excellent flavor and handling qualities. This variety typically ripens the 2nd to 3rd week of August.
Blushingstar Peaches - 3rd week of August Blushingstar    3rd week of August
A white fleshed peach with good storage & shipping qualities, this freestone peach has a high percentage of red color with a lesser white background. Its white flesh has a tinge of pink but doesn't brown when sliced. This peach, too, ripens the 3rd week of August.
Cresthaven Peaches - 3rd week of August Cresthaven    3rd week of August
A large peach, mostly 2 3/4" to 3 1/4" in size. This freestone peach has a red blush over an orange/yellow background, has great flavor and holds its firmness well. An excellent all-purpose peach. Ripens during the 3rd week of August.
Fayette Peaches - 4th week of August Fayette    4th week of August through 1st week of September
A very large, round, freestone peach. The Fayette variety is a late season peach displaying an extremely high coloration on its smooth skin. Harvest for this variety begins the 4th week of August through the 1st week of September.
